CUSTOMARY COURT, IGBAJA

The present day Igbaja Customary Court building was the headquarters of Igbomina Traditional Council meeting Hall; the Hall dedicated to meeting of all Traditional Rulers in Igbomina Land. Igbaja was at that time the seat of Igbomina District Officer as the Igbomina District headquarters until late 1950's, Igbaja was the Administrative Headquarters of Igbomina Ekiti, where all the traditional rulers held regular meeting on important issues. Igbaja was also the Headquarters of the defunct Ifedapo Local Government Area.
